Chelsea Home

This 3,500 sq ft, five-story period townhouse in Chelsea was completely reimagined to create a warm, inviting, and highly functional home for a young family. Portia Fox Design blended sophistication with practicality, incorporating modern amenities such as a playroom, nursery, and homework spaces, while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.

The design emphasised a strong connection to the outdoor spaces, ensuring the home felt bright and welcoming throughout. Thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of a growing family, the result is a calm and contemporary retreat that seamlessly balances style and functionality.

With formal and informal areas, a cinema, wine cellar, gym, and an indulgent principal suite, the house offered every amenity. Yet, the challenge lay in making these grand spaces feel welcoming and liveable. Through bespoke furniture, soft textures, and curated art, every room was designed to reflect the family’s personality while maintaining a sense of understated luxury.
